Wellnitz Award

The Wellnitz Award is named after Kirk Wellnitz who passed in a training mission over the Pacific Ocean with the Air National Guard. His father Bob Wellnitz has been the commissioner of the Portland Football Officials Association (PFOA) who do our JV and Varsity games, for 20 years.

This award is the epitome of all awards given by the TVYFL. The winners yearly are given votes from there fellow coaches for sportsmanship , conduct of themselves, team and parents and overall being a good mentor for the youth of their community.
